Medicare is a form of health care insurance designed by the federal government for seniors, along with people who have certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the person will need to receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual has to be hospitalized for their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
