Dual diagnosis rehabs are facilities which deliver rehabilitation to handle both mental health and addiction issues concurrently. Rehabilitation counselors will continue to work to recognize environmental issues in the client's life including negative relationships or any other things that have to be addressed in order for the person to be mentally healthy and sober t whenever they leave dual diagnosis rehab. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral rehabilitation that helps them develop far better coping mechanisms so that they are able to better deal with life situations well when they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of turning to drugs and alcohol as a possible answer.
