Medicare is a kind of medical insurance created by the federal government for seniors, along with people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the individual will have to obtain treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to see their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be hospitalized for his or her problem, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
