TRICARE is medical health insurance that's provided to members of the armed forces of the United States. Drug and alcohol use inside the military is much more common than one would assume, and the necessity to provide rehab to these individuals is an important priority. TRICARE covers numerous rehab services to handle drug and alcohol dependence including detoxification services, along with rehab in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient programs. Individuals with TRICARE will naturally have to have a prior approval before taking part in any sort of rehab service, which is often arranged using their regional TRICARE representative. If an inpatient center will be the favored rehabilitation choice, TRICARE covers 21 days or one inpatient stay in this facility per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are certain limits concerning how long a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30-45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment that may be very useful, as it can help include family members in the healing and recovery process. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled rehabilitation counselors waiting to help you today.
