This situation is an extremely common trigger for drug abuse, and is also a good example of something which would be handled in treatment. LGBT clients often just want to be accepted within their lives, and rehabilitation will help them accept themselves and build confidence so that they can lead a wholesome life free of alcohol and drugs.
