Offering gender-specific rehabilitation services has shown to be very helpful in circumstances where conventional rehab facilities have not meet expectations, for example dealing with situations in the women's life which can be distinctive and traumatic. Such issues may pertain to sexual abuse, physical trauma, mental abuse, eating disorders, one's family and being a mother, or another significant issues that are specific to women.
