Medicaid is a form of health care insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify just because they earn a fair income. There are many alcohol and drug rehab programs which accept Medicaid, but various states have distinct rules for what types of rehabilitation are covered. Some states only include outpatient rehab services for instance while other states cover far more intensive rehab like a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol treatment center. If a person is involved in drug use and desires help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this help. If they do not have Medicaid and also don't have the cash or any other type of health care insurance to pay for treatment, they can check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehab facility which is approved inside their state.
