If an inpatient center could be the preferred rehabilitation option, TRICARE covers 21 days or one inpatient stay in that program per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits about how much time a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling that may be very helpful, as it could help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process.
