Medicare is a form of health care insurance created by the U.S. government for senior citizens, and also individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real catch is, the person will need to acquire treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they can also get to visit their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program in the event that the individual should be in a hospital for their problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
