Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which deliver treatment to address both addiction and mental health concerns at the same time. Rehab counselors will continue to work to identify environmental issues in the client's life such as negative relationships or other things which should be addressed in order for the person to be mentally stable and abstinen t whenever they depart dual diagnosis rehab. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehabilitation which will help them develop far better coping methods so they are better able to handle life situations better if they leave dual diagnosis rehab instead of turning to drugs as an inferior option.
