Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for senior citizens, in addition to people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the person will need to acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they can also get to visit their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve what type of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual must be hospitalized because of their problem, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
