A group home is ordinarily for troubled adolescents, but there are also group homes for folks with a mental health disorder or who are encountering behavioral difficulties for example. As an alternative to sending people who are being affected by substance abuse or recovering from substance abuse to an orphanage, asylum and other similar place, a group home may help provide an appropriate environment to help individuals maintain stability within their lives and have counsel and support at their fingertips around the clock.
