Individuals who want to maintain a lot of flexibility in their lives can engage in an outpatient rehab if they need treatment for drug or alcohol abuse. Outpatient rehab allows for the treatment client to participate in rehabilitation services without the commitment you might normally have to agree to in an inpatient or residential drug rehabilitation program. For a person with more significant drug abuse and dependency issues, inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment facilities which provide rehab over a long-term basis will be the more advantageous rehab choice.
