Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, as well as individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the individual must acquire treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to begin treatment, they will also have to visit their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be in a hospital for his or her issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
