A group home for a person who has tbeen involved with drug and alcohol abuse is a place which offers continual support and help for folks in recovery. A group home is typically for troubled adolescents, but there's also group homes for folks with a mental health problem or who are experiencing behavioral difficulties for example. Instead of sending individuals who are being affected by substance abuse or recovering from substance abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar place, a group home may help offer an acceptable environment to help maintain stability within their lives and also have counsel and support within reach around the clock.
