Medicare is a type of health care insurance developed by the government for seniors, as well as people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only exception is, the individual will need to receive treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve which kind of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual must be hospitalized because of their problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
