Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehab to address both mental health and addiction issues at the same time. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment which will help them develop more effective coping methods so they are better able to handle life situations more proficiently after they leave dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to returning to drugs and alcohol as a possible option.
