Medicare is a form of medical insurance created by the U.S. government for older folks, and also people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one catch is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual must be in a hospital for their problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
