Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, and also people with specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence treatment, they may also have to see their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual has to be hospitalized for issue, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
