Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehabilitation to address both addiction and mental health issues simultaneously. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop far better coping methods so that they are better able to deal with life situations well if they leave dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to drugs and alcohol as an inferior option.
