If an inpatient program will be the preferred rehab option, TRICARE covers a three week period or one inpatient stay in this particular program per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits concerning how long a TRICARE member can stay within an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30-45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which is often very beneficial, as it could help include family members in the healing and recovery process.
