Medicare is a kind of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for older persons, and also people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual will have to receive treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual should be hospitalized for their problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
