Medicaid is a form of health care insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not an individual qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they make a fair income. As an example, people who have a lot of dependents may be eligible for Medicaid even though they earn what would be considered a sensible income. There are several drug treatment centers which accept Medicaid, but different states have different rules for what types of rehabilitation are covered. Some states only include outpatient rehabilitation services for example while other states cover more extensive rehabilitation like a residential stay in long-term drug rehabilitation center. If somebody is involved in drug abuse and desires help, they are able to use their Medicaid health coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the funds or some other kind of medical health insurance to pay for treatment, they can determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that's approved inside their state.
