Medicare is a type of health care insurance created by the government for seniors, along with people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the person must receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they may also have to see their primary care physician who must state that rehab services are medically essential, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
