Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance. Whether a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify simply because they make an acceptable income. As an example, men and women who have many dependents may qualify for Medicaid regardless of whether they earn what can be described as a reasonable income. Medicaid could also cover the price of rehabilitation, if a person has been abusing drugs or alcohol and requires rehab. There are numerous alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers which accept Medicaid, but different states have distinct rules for what forms of rehab are covered. Certain states only cover outpatient rehab services as an example while other states cover more intensive treatment say for example a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug rehabilitation program. If a person is involved in drug use and wants help, they're able to use their Medicaid health coverage to acquire this help. If they don't have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or another type of medical insurance to cover rehabilitation, they can determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehab facility which is approved within their state.
