Medicare is a type of medical insurance created by the government for senior citizens, along with people with certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the individual must receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence treatment, they can also get to see their doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be hospitalized for issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
