A group home for someone who has been involved in alcohol and drug abuse is a place which provides continual support and help for those in recovery. A group home is ordinarily for troubled adolescents, but there are also group homes for folks with a mental health disorder or who are experiencing behavioral trouble for example. Rather than sending individuals who are experiencing drug abusedrug use or recovering from substance abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar facility, a group home will help offer an appropriate environment to help maintain stability within their lives and still have counsel and support at their fingertips around the clock.
