Medicaid is a type of medical health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance. Whether or not somebody is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they make a fair income. Certain states only include outpatient rehabilitation services for instance while other states cover far more intensive rehabilitation say for example a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. If somebody is involved in drug abuse and wants help, they are able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this treatment. If they do not have Medicaid and also don't have enough cash or another type of health insurance to pay for rehab, they can see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehabilitation program that is approved inside their state.
