Medicare is a form of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for older folks, along with those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the individual must obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be in a hospital for their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
