Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which deliver treatment to deal with both mental health and addiction issues at the same time. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral treatment that helps them develop more effective coping mechanisms so that they are better able to handle life situations well once they leave dual diagnosis rehab rather than returning to drugs as an inferior option.
