TRICARE is health care insurance that's offered to members of the military of the United States. If an inpatient program could be the preferred rehab option, TRICARE will cover a three week period or one inpatient stay in such a program per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are particular limits regarding how much time a TRICARE member can remain in the inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment that may be very beneficial, as it may help include family members in the healing and recovery process.
