Criminal justice client rehabs can be considered as a considerably better option than time in jail or heavy fines for individuals who have already been convicted of any type of drug or alcohol related crime. For example, somebody who has been found guilty of driving while impaired of drugs or alcohol may be eligible to obtain rehab services for their problem instead of serving time in prison. The judge could even order the individual receive rehab, either alone or along with other consequences. The signs and indicators seem to be quite positive, and criminal justice clients that experience rehabilitation have better chance of remaining out of the system after treatment.
