Offering gender-specific rehabilitation services has proven beneficial in circumstances where standard rehabilitation settings have fallen short, like coping with situations in a women's life that are unique and distressing. Such difficulties may relate to sexual abuse, physical trauma, psychological abuse, eating disorders, one's family and motherhood, or any other serious issues that are particular to women.
