Medicare is a kind of medical health insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, along with those that have specific disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the person must receive treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehab, they may also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically essential, and the physician will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her issue, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
