Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only catch is, the individual will have to acquire treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehab, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be hospitalized for their problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
