Hearing impaired persons tend to have an increased probability of drug abuse issues because of their impairment, and rehab services have to be at hand which cater to their circumstances. Individuals who are hearing impaired can seem to be alone, unmotivated, and be without goals because of the impairment. ASL rehab services are definitely a necessity, as are treatment services which address the particular challenges that hearing impaired individuals face. Group therapy offers a venue for important peer support so that rehab clients can know that they are not on their own, and that there's hope to handle their challenge with drugs and alcohol. Individual therapy services might be more tailored for each individual to ensure their unique problems can be addressed in rehab.
