Medicaid is a type of health insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether or not somebody qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they earn a reasonable income.
