Medicare is a sort of health care insurance created by the government for seniors, along with those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person will have to receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they will also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual must be hospitalized for issue, as well as the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
