If an inpatient facility will be the preferred rehab choice, TRICARE will cover 21 days or one inpatient stay in this particular program per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits regarding the length of time a TRICARE member can stay in the inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30 to 45 day window that's covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling that may be very useful, as it may help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery.
