Medicaid is a form of medical health insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance coverage. Whether an individual qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a reasonable income. If someone is involved with drug abuse and wants help, they could use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this help. If they don't have Medicaid and in addition don't have enough cash or some other form of health insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in an alcohol and drug rehab program that is approved in their state.
