Medicare is a type of health insurance designed by the government for older folks, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual must be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
