Medicaid is a health care insurance available for individuals who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance. Whether an individual qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and individuals shouldn't presume they don't qualify simply because they make a fair income. There are several drug and alcohol rehab centers which accept Medicaid, but various states have distinct rules for what kinds of treatment are covered. Some states only cover outpatient rehab services by way of example while other states cover far more intensive rehabilitation say for example a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. If a person is involved with drug abuse and needs help, they are able to use their Medicaid health coverage to get this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or any other type of health care insurance to cover treatment, they could see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that is approved in their state.
