Criminal justice client rehabs can be considered being a far better option than incarceration or heavy fines for individuals who have already been convicted of any sort of alcohol or drug related crime. For instance, a person who has been found guilty of driving drunk of drugs or alcohol may qualify to obtain rehabilitation services for his or her problem as an alternative to serving time in prison. The judge may even order the individual receive treatment, either alone or in addition to other consequences. New offenders specifically are often given the chance to select a criminal justice client rehab as an alternative to other sentencing, and it is highly recommended that they benefit from it when it is an alternative. The idea behind criminal justice client rehabs is that it is much more efficient and effective to invest effort and time into rehabilitation than punishment. The signs and indicators seem quite positive, and criminal justice clients who do experience rehab have better potential for remaining out of the judicial system following treatment.
