Medicare is a form of health insurance developed by the federal government for senior citizens, in addition to people with certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person will need to acquire treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to see their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment providers. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual must be hospitalized for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they will have to self pay.
