A group home for someone who has been involved in drug abuse is a facility which offers continual support and assistance for individuals in recovery. A group home is ordinarily for troubled youth, but there's also group homes for folks with a mental health problem or who are encountering behavioral difficulties for example. Instead of sending people who are being affected by substance abuse or recovering from drug abuse to an orphanage, asylum or other similar facility, a group home will help provide an acceptable environment to help maintain stability inside their lives and still have counsel and support within reach around the clock.
