Medicare is a type of health insurance created by the government for senior citizens, along with individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the individual will need to acquire treatment from your alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be hospitalized for their issue, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
