Medicare is a type of medical insurance created by the government for older persons, and also individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real exception is, the individual will have to receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they can also get to visit their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will usually approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be in a hospital for their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
