TRICARE is medical insurance that's offered to members of the armed forces of the United States. Drug abuse within the military is a lot more common than one would think, and the need to provide treatment to these individuals is a crucial priority. TRICARE covers a variety of rehab services to deal with alcohol and drug dependence such as detox services, along with rehab in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. People who have TRICARE will naturally have to obtain a prior approval before partaking in any sort of rehab service, that may be arranged using their regional TRICARE liaison. If an inpatient center will be the favored rehab choice, TRICARE covers 21 days or one inpatient stay in that facility per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are specific limits regarding how much time a TRICARE member can stay in the inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30-45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which is often very beneficial, as it could help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are expert rehab counselors ready to assist you today.
