Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, and also people with certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real catch is, the person will need to obtain treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual has to be hospitalized for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
