Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for older persons, along with those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the person will need to acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be in a hospital because of their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
